It spans approximately <strong>220 square kilometers<\/strong> making it one of the smaller national parks in Uganda.<\/p><p>First established as a forest reserve in 1932 and later upgraded to national park status in 1993, Semuliki is home to over 441 bird species, including many that are found nowhere else in Uganda.
