3 Day Murchison Falls Safari Experience

After your morning breakfast, you will be picked by our driver and thereafter start your journey to the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park which is Uganda’s largest with lots of natural wonders.  After checking in the park, you will start with your first activity which is a walk to the top of the falls. Here, the Nile waters makes its way through a narrow gorge making a thunderous sound pouring downstream into the Victoria Nile. This place is good for memorable pictures and taking in the sounds and sights, so be ready to take as many photos here and videos for memories to take back home.

Later, head straight to the northern sector of the park for an afternoon game drive guided by the park ranger. You will drive through different park tracks in search for different animals like the lions, hyenas, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, elephants, water bucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribis, etc. Afterwards, check in accommodation of your choice.

After your breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive with your packed lunch. It will be a great time as you look out for various animal species that you would have missed out the previous day. After the game drive, you will be driven direct to the dock in preparation for an afternoon boat cruise.

Later you will set off for your boat adventure and while on the cruise, you will be able to view different water animals like the crocodiles, hippos and some animals at the banks of the river as they quench their thirst; like elephants and water bucks. Also expect to see different bird species like the red-throated bee-eaters, kingfishers, martial eagles and more, not missing out the views of Nyamsika cliffs. Feel free to take photos and videos as you enjoy the wildlife on water. The boat ride will take you to the bottom of the Falls and when you reach here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls. Don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy while on this adventurous 3 hour’s boat cruise. Afterwards, head back to your accommodation.

After your breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and start on your journey back to Kampala. It will be a great time as you view various animal species as you drive through the park though most of them will be seen in the grasslands feeding. You will en-route lunch in Masindi and later back on the road for a late evening arrival in Kampala.
